The Armin Mir Mentorship · players over 30

Stop playing jazz by accident and start soloing on purpose in 90 days.

You can already play. But the good lines come by luck, not by choice, and freeze the moment someone hands you a solo. This is the system that changes that.

Sound familiar

If any of this is you, you're in the right place.

01

You hit a great line and think "how did I even do that?" Then you can't get it back. It's happy accidents, not decisions.

02

Someone calls a solo, you look down at the fretboard and go "…now what do I do?" So you fall back on the same three licks.

03

You're hanging with jazz players, standing on the sidelines, thinking "I want to be in that party." But you don't sit in.

04

You've watched a hundred videos and gone down every rabbit hole, and you're more overwhelmed, not less. No real direction.

05

You came up on rock or blues and you're stuck in the pentatonic box. You hear the jazz in your head, your hands won't go there.

06

You've learned the shapes before, but nobody ever showed you how to use them to make music over a tune.

The problem was never your talent, your age, or how much theory you know. It's that you've never had one clear system.

The system

The bebop idea that does the heavy lifting.

Minor conversion, inspired by Pat Martino, lets you solo over a whole tune using one minor shape instead of a new scale for every chord. This short breakdown shows you how.

A 4-minute look under the hood. No sign-up needed.

Your 90-day roadmap

From "I know some shapes" to "I have a voice" in 3 phases.

A clear path from where you are now to soloing on purpose. Every phase tailored to your level, so you always know exactly what to practice next.

Phase 01 · Foundations
Day 1 – 30

Get the system under your fingers

We build your personal practice routine on the first call, so you stop guessing. The four minor formations, fretboard visualization so you always know where to play, and your first standards broken down into melody, comping, and improvisation.

Phase 02 · Confidence
Day 30 – 60

Stop sounding hesitant

This is where the freezing goes away. We break through the plateau, keep you accountable to a routine that fits your life, and turn the shapes into music you trust, not licks you hope land.

Phase 03 · Your own voice
Day 60 – 90

Make it sound like you

We integrate real jazz language into the system, simplify bebop harmony down to one motion, and find your own sound inside minor conversion, so the formations become home base and everything builds from there.

After 90 days

Solo with a system, not a guess.

You play the lines you hear in your head, on purpose, with the confidence to sit in anywhere. And you keep access to the live calls for a full 12 months, so you keep progressing long after.

More than a video library

What you're actually getting.

Most people don't realize how much support is built in until they're inside. Here's the full picture, up front.

A plan built for you

Not a one-size course. Your routine is tailored to your level and your schedule, so you always know exactly what to practice next.

Real accountability

Homework, check-ins, and someone keeping you on track, so you don't drift and get lost the way you do in a self-paced course.

2 to 3 live calls a week

A deep, ongoing library of live sessions for a full 12 months. Far more personal and collaborative than people expect.

Direct access to me

24h WhatsApp access plus 1-on-1 time during your 90 days. Ask anything, even if it means starting from zero on a topic.

A real community

Lifetime access to the community and jam sessions, with players at your level you can grow alongside, some maybe near you.

A 90-day guarantee

Show up, do the work, and if you don't see real progress, you get continued coaching at no cost or a full refund.

Real results

Players just like you, sounding like jazz.

Most came from rock, blues, or were self-taught. Years on a plateau, then a clear system. Here's what changed for them.

Before you apply

Questions, answered honestly.

Am I good enough for this?+

Almost everyone asks this. If you can play some chords and find your way around the neck, you're ready. Most people who join are beginners to jazz, not beginners to guitar, coming from rock, blues, country, or years of playing self-taught. The system meets you where you are.

Am I too old to start jazz?+

No. The players who get the most out of this are adults, often 35 and up, with a life and a career outside music. The best time to start was years ago. The next best time is now. Age has never been the thing holding anyone back here.

I don't have hours a day to practice. Does that matter?+

Not at all. This is built around consistency, not volume. Plenty of students practice 20 minutes a day and get real results. We set a practice window small enough that you'll actually do it, even on a busy day, and block it on your calendar so it happens.

How is this different from a course or YouTube?+

A course talks to a million people at once. This is tailored to you, with a plan for your level, direct access to me, live calls, and accountability. YouTube gives you a hundred directions and no path. This gives you one.

What if it doesn't work for me?+

Give the program 90 days and do the work. If you don't see real progress, you choose: continued coaching at no extra cost until you do, or a full refund. The only real risk is another year playing it safe.
